The final Science course in the first year of Step 2, ages 7-8, and for students of any age who are developing literacy.
The first half of the course, the student discovers the Earth's waters - its oceans, lakes, rivers, underground waters, currents, hurricanes, tidal waves and tsunamis, and how these impact life and weather on our planet. This part comes with its own test and answer guide.
Part Two covers our atmosphere. What is air, how did it come to be? Weather is explored in detail, including how the sun and Earth's various terrains contribute to it. The types of clouds and storms are investigated, and the student is introduced to the concept of air pollution, and investigates the concept of global warming. This part also comes with its own test and answer guide.
The perfect conclusion to Step 2 Science 3, completing the student's introduction to the planet we live on.
