19 lessons, 10 weeks of study for a student which will open up the physical world for his examination. This course serves as the first half of Semester 1, in Step 2 Science, for ages 7-8, and for students of any age who are developing literacy.

How do scientists discover the truths of the physical universe? What tools do they use? What do they measure, and how? How do we use the same tools every day of our lives? What is an estimate, and how can the student improve his skills and accuracy when estimating? How can a 7 or 8 year old have a profound hands-on experience with the very core idea of science?  The answers await!
