The final Step 1 Science Course. A practical hands-on course, 24 lessons, explaining the tools and machines that help shape our lives today.

From paper and books, to computers and cars, from plumbing to electric light, toasters to CD players, shovels to excavators - the student is introduced to the history and current state of tools and machines that he/she may be using each day to make modern life possible.  All presented in a safe and fun manner that a 5-6 year-old who is preliterate, or who has limited literacy, can easily grasp.

Totally fun, the course develops reading skills while also developing the student's grasp of the machines and tools in the world around him, and how to use them while staying safe.
